Buyer reviewMy Husband and I met John 1 year ago when we started the home buying process. I called Century 21 regarding a property I saw for sale and John answered the phone (typical to his nature of non stop work!) As first time home buyers, the entire process was very new to us. John was extremely thorough and always available to answer any questions we had. John is very persistent, never gave up trying to find us a home and was always on top of the new houses in the areas in which we wanted to stay. Working with John we ultimately always felt as if the decision was ours and never felt pressured into making a decision we weren't comfortable with. John clearly wanted to make sure we were happy and confident in our decision in purchasing the right home for us. We would highly recommend John to any of our family and friends!

This was the first home-buying experience for myself and my wife and we couldn't have asked for a better person to help guide us through the process, all the way from just 'dipping our toes' in the market to making an offer and closing. From previous experiences with agents (during years of renting in New York City) and our experience with some of the selling agents during this current buying process, we know that a lot of folks in the industry can be pushy and seemingly narrowly-focused on maximizing their own bottom line. I never felt this way with John. He clearly understands that the best way to find the right fit is by providing as much information and impartial perspective as possible to the prospective buyer so that they can make an informed decision with which they are ultimately comfortable. This is precisely what John Pordon did for us and for that, we are extremely grateful. John gets an A+ in our book. He honestly could not have been any better. We would recommend him wholeheartedly with no reservations to anyone looking to buy a home.
