To say that the 2021 housing market has been difficult to deal with is an understatement. Especially as first time home buyers we felt as though the market was out to get us. However, Karen consistently assured us that the perfect home would come, and that she would assist us as long as we needed until we found one. Anytime we found a house we were interested in we would send it over to Karen, and she would be right on top of it to schedule a tour. Anytime we had a question, she would answer us quickly and efficiently, and if it took a little more research to answer our question, she would go to any source she needed. Whether that be our mortgage processor or the listing agent for a home, she was on top of them to get an answer. We were approved for an FHA loan, and that disqualified us from looking at certain homes due to a number of different reasons. However, some homes that we were interested in were marked that they would go FHA when they shouldn't have been. Karen was extremely knowledgeable and observant when we went to look at homes, and was willing to point out what details she saw that would not go FHA. Not only did this save us from wasting our time, but it also helped us save money from potential repairs we would have to make in order for a home to pass inspection. Among all of this, Karen was extremely reassuring. We did not want to settle on a home because it is such a big investment, and we knew what we wanted. She never made us feel that we were under pressure to buy any home we looked at, and instead she encouraged us to take our time and think about options before jumping the gun. She always agreed that we did not want to settle, and let us know that as first time home buyers we were making the smartest decisions. We would recommend Karen to any person looking to purchase a home. She is professional, personal, and just all around great to work with. We are hopeful to be able to work with her again in the future, and are beyond grateful for all of her help!
