My name is Karen Werkheiser and I live in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. I can introduce you to all the great amenities this area has to offer! Let me help you determine your wants and needs in your new home and find the location that works best for you!

I graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Interior Design and Marketing, and have been selling real estate full time since 2012. My experience in home interiors, remodeling, and staging over the last 25 years, have been a tremendous asset in helping buyers and sellers with their real estate needs. I believe understanding your goals requires good listening skills, asking the right questions, and providing honest answers to your questions. In other words, Great Customer Service! Whether helping you reach your dream of home ownership, or selling and moving on to life's next journey, my focus is communication. Today's technology allows clients to have information, their way, at their fingertips. When not busy with real estate, I'm involved with the Blue Mountain Preservation Association, encouraging sensible and responsible approaches to development along this beautiful mountain.

When we went to see our first house (I forget the address) - the one Karen was representing the seller for - she picked up early on the fact that the house wasn't really a great fit for us. But she immediately started to ask us questions on what we did want and need, was not at all pushy, and was extremely friendly and helpful. I really believed even on our first meeting that she cared about making sure we found the perfect home. I felt comfortable with her right away and even though that house hadn't been the right one for us, I'm very grateful that it brought us to Karen. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better agent. She always either had or obtained the answer to every question we had, responded very swiftly every time I contacted her, was always engaged and contacting us with information and houses she thought we'd like (without being pushy or pressuring us at any point). I never once doubted anything she told us, and she always made sure we had the context and understanding we needed to feel confident. I have not a single complaint and have only the highest appreciation and respect for everything she did for us. While I worked with Karen more than anyone else, I was also extremely happy with the other staff as well as everyone she recommended to us. A couple of hiccups here or there are sort of unavoidable in such an important and large purchase/pursuit, but the process really was so smooth, I still almost can't believe it.

Karen Werkheiser was an absolute joy to work with. We've worked with other agents in the past, and Karen was a breath of fresh air. She was extremely patient and spent entire days showing us through dozens of homes. She was never pushy, never tried to "sell" us on a home, and gave us solid advice when we had questions. In the end, we found the perfect home for our family and were able to complete the sale with a sizable amount of equity to boot. While buying a home can be stressful, we had an overall pleasant experience and couldn't be happier with our new home. I would happily recommend Karen to anyone and will certainly be calling her when it's time to sell.
