Liane O'Keefe was instrumental to our sale process and to achieving the end result we were after. Liane is friendly, approachable, and professional, and she made what was a very uncomfortable process for us a little more relaxed and manageable. From the beginning, Liane was careful to explain the realities of the local market and the current real estate trends in the wake of the housing crash. She made sure that we were informed every step of the way, and explained anything we didn't understand so that we were always able to make informed decisions. While we didn't always like what we heard, we completely appreciated having all of the information rather than being led in one direction or another based on her wishes. That sort of honesty and openness is rare in real estate, and we were grateful for it. We took it as the first sign that we'd selected the right Realtor. Liane gave us an excellent recommendation for a Short Sale attorney, and without that attorney we likely wouldn't have achieved our sale either. From inspectors to appraisers to lawyers, Liane has built relationships with solid, dependable folks who are all as professional and as highly recommendable as Liane herself is. When we saw the quality of professionals that Liane regularly worked with, we became even more convinced we'd make the right choice. Each of the people we encountered throughout the sale were key to our success, and their familiarity with each other and their trust in each others' thoughts and opinions resulted in a well-organized, concerted effort that made our sale happen. I would strongly recommend Liane O'Keefe to any of my family or friends, and if we were to relocate to northern Illinois she would be the first call we made.
