Lisa Mills was, by far, the very best real estate agent I have ever worked with. I chose her because she was extremely familiar with Laguna Woods Village, which turned out to be critical for a smooth process. Like many others, I was selling my parents' home after they both passed away, and was doing it from out-of-state. When Lisa and I first spoke, she said, "It's my job to make this easy for you to do all of this without having to fly into California." She was a woman of her word. Not only did she handle all of the typical tasks an agent takes on, but she also arranged for an electrician and handyman to do some work necessary for the sale. When we had to get "after-the-fact" permits from the HOA and the town, she went to those offices on my behalf and filed all the necessary paperwork. She was in constant touch – phone, text, and/or email, so I always knew what was going on. She was kind, patient, and fun to talk to – if she got frustrated, she surely didn't show it. In a community like Laguna Woods Village, it's so important for the agent to understand the HOA rules and be able to help her client through the inspections and required forms completion. Because Lisa knew the rules, she was able to guide me, making it all seem so simple. I would have been lost without her.
