Melissa and Grace are a dynamic duo that bring both energy and knowledge to their full time business as Realtors. This mother and daughter team have over 20 years of experience in the real estate market on the Kenai Peninsula. Their family homesteaded on the Kenai Peninsula in the early 60's and have lived on the peninsula ever since. Melissa and Grace are active in their community and are involved (current and past) with Red Cross, Kenai Peninsula Association of Realtors, Sterling Community Center, Cook Inlet Citizens Advisory Board, Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly, Soldotna Little League, and Alaska Human Rights Commission. Seller reviewFor one thing I knew the Merkes family since 1975, I bought this lot through Grace and was friends with Leon with who I enjoyed many cups of coffee at the scout Lake Inn. I had several dealings with Leon & Grace which was always positive and enjoyable. The family was honest and very hard-working and was a great asset to the Sterling and Soldotna area. I highly recommend using her for any real-estate needs you may have. Melissa was amazing and really worked with our schedule! She didn't hesitate when we asked her to let us inspect the property several times until we were comfortable with our decision. She answered our many questions and had great follow through.

Seller reviewMelissa was an agent for the management company I had hired. I felt both of us could benefit from our past records. Melissa was extremely patient. I was not! I felt very comfortable with her suggestions and personal opinions about what were good options for me. Had some confusion or misunderstanding about the process. Didnt know till late in the process the buyer would not have definite signing date. Another agent (or employee) noticed a questionable lien, which she mentioned to Melissa. I was happy they were working together and watching out for other employees. It was addressed more quickly. Thank you! We all think we are selling the Taj Mahal, and are disappointed when we have to accept we own an old trailer house. I had some other disappointing situations with an ex-husband and poor managing. Melissa was very gentle in helping me face reality. This made me feel that I could trust her judgment in setting a price, accepting a fair offer and dealing with contractors. Trust is a very important thing to me, being 2800 miles away. Thanks, Melissa!
