Averaging a home sold every 10 days for the last 25 years!

I've lived in Berks County all my life. My long-term residency in the area has given me the experience and background of Berks County. I can find my way around just about anywhere, and if I were to get lost, it wouldn't take long for me to get my bearings. The kid in me shows himself occasionally. I love the outdoors (motorcycles, hunting, fishing, boating & sports). I spent many years coaching youth soccer, baseball, and wrestling. I love the beach and try to vacation there once a year.

I reside in the Bernville area with my wife Lorie and our son Alex. I chose this profession because it is the perfect fit for me. Those who know me joke about how I'm "the definition of a people person." It is not just my communication skills that make me good at my job, but the rewarding feeling I receive by knowing I truly helped someone achieve his or her real estate needs. Working in the real estate business for the past 25 years has never been boring. I learn more about it every day. The more I learn, the more I love what I do and the better I can help my clients!

I am a past board member, including former Secretary, at the Reading-Berks Association of Realtors® (RBAR). I formally held the position as a new agent coordinator for 3 years with Century 21 Call First (now Century 21 Gold). I am always willing to answer any questions new agents may have about the business and give some ideas or opinions on what the best approach to real estate could be.

Mike's process is very impressive. From the first sit down to the settlement. Katie is truly an asset for Mike. What a great team I could not have asked for more. This is the second house I had listed with Mike. I would not use anyone else.

Mike listened to our needs and understood the urgency of selling the property we were listing in order to complete the purchase of a new property. We were nervous that this wasn't going to happen. Mike remained confident through the process and reassured us that great things were going to happen. In very little time Mike had the property under contract. After we were under contract Mike continued to follow through ensuring settlement went off seamlessly.

We were very pleased with Mike from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable about the current market and the time frame we should list our home in. It was listed on a Thursday and by Saturday we had an offer and accepted by Sunday. I was amazed. He answered any questions we had and was always keeping us posted on what to do next up till closing. He was at closing with us and if we ever needed to sell or buy again we would not use anyone else. Thanks Mike for all your help!

This was my mother's house. I live 2000 miles away and needed a broker who would communicate with me, and take care of helping me get the property in it's best reasonable condition for the sale. Mike and Katie had great referrals, knew the neighborhood, and were there with me every step of the way with a discounted rate that helped the estate so much! Even when I fell flat they were there with the plan, making it happen. Even before I signed the contract, they were there for me. I was dealing with a huge estate burden, along with the sudden loss of my mother, from 2000 miles away. They were professionals and friends. They took many pictures, coordinated with the support workers, had a coming soon and went the extra mile to get it on he MLS in time for the estate sale. Katie Mauger is AWESOME in every way. Professional, supportive, informative, can-do support all the way! They were simply wonderful. And when crunch time came and the attorneys were dragging their feet before closing, Mike got on the horn with other realtor and got it done within literally minutes. He really stuck his neck out for me.
