Richard was professional, courteous, even coming on weekends and his off time, traveling several counties over to show us a home or two, often last minute and didn't complain about my run on sentences. He was kind and understanding through our frustrations, he was thoughtful and particular. He explained things to us and allowed us to make tough decisions and he helped us find our first home. We are more than pleased with Richard and I have already recommended him word of mouth to many other police officers and Acquaintances. As a law enforcement officer, finding a safe place for my family was very important. Mission success. One individual named Cheryl came to show a house last minute, adapting her schedule to assist us. Richard could use a little less hair gel. We are pro-environment and I can't imagine what that does to the ecosystem. I felt as if I was in a Marcado in Central America bargaining for mangoes. Successfully.

When we think about Richard Pickrell the word that comes to mind is Gratitude! We could not be more grateful in our experience with Richard. Richard took the time to understand the peculiar set of circumstances our family was in regarding the sell of our home and the purchase of our new one. He was never pushy or made us feel cornered as we progressed. He has a delightful and humorous disposition, always easy to reach and had answers for our endless supply of questions!

We met with Richard Pickrell 2-3 years ago to simply learn what we needed to do in order to buy a home. We are lifelong renters and had never considered buying so we had no idea where to start. He met with me to explain everything in layman's terms, even when I explained to him that we were NOT in a position to buy yet. His willingness to sit down with me and give me his time knowing he had nothing to gain (for the next 2-3 years) was what made us come back to him when we were ready. From the very beginning, he was always open and honest and answered all of our questions along the way (there were a lot!). He advocated for us and worked diligently to get us in our dream home, even when homes were flying off the market in a matter of hours. He stayed on top of listings to always show us what was available, within our budget, and met our needs. He never made us feel pressured to look at something we didn't feel like we could afford (a worry of ours when we started the process...our budget felt less than others and I'm pretty tight with money so I didn't want to look at things I knew we couldn't or didn't want to afford). He negotiated a fabulous deal for us and helped us beat out other really good offers. He worked with the listing agent and lender to move things along, especially when we got stuck with the appraisal process. He never stopped fighting for us. He helped us to know what was realistic, when to ask for more, and when to hold off. He always gave us all the information and details (another worry of ours...not knowing what was going on and then getting into something we didn't fully understand). He was amazing! Kind, polite, respectful, and pretended not to notice when my husband and I squabbled over light fixtures and our ideas for the extra bedroom. Love him and would recommend him to anyone!!!!
