We met Stacey Smith through a mutual friend that introduced us to her. We met up at a coffee shop and got to know each other a little bit and talked through what we were looking for in a home. Being first time homebuyer's and coming from living internationally, we truly had no idea what we were doing or what to expect in this process. We met Stacey Smith by accident and are very glad we did! We tried to go to an open house in the DSM area and the real estate app we were using did not update in time to let us know that the open house was cancelled. We drove around the area looking for a different open house and found one that Stacey happened to be hosting. After exchanging contact info we met up to discuss what we were looking for in a home. Stacey came prepared and walked us through the home buying process as this was our first time. She broke down the process in easy to understand steps and made it all seem a lot less daunting. After a few months we found a home that we loved and wanted to put an offer on and did. The offer was accepted but our landlord would not let us out of our apartment lease early. We had to wait another year before we could try again. Throughout that long waiting period Stacey stuck with us, checking in every once in awhile to see if we had questions, wanted to see a house, or just to see how things were going. Time passed and we were able to put together an offer for a home we loved even more and now it's ours! Stacey did such an amazing job for us and was truly by our side the whole time. We would absolutely recommend her to all of our family and friends and look forward to our next home when we can enlist her services again.
