As first time home buyers we were nervous it was going to be a difficult and complicated process. Stacey Smith at century 21 was a pleasure to work with and kept us informed at every step. I met Stacey on a whim at an open house when I first started thinking about buying a house. After the open house we sat down and talked through what the process for buying my first home would be, and I decided I wasn't quite ready. For almost a full year Stacey stayed available, but I never felt pressured to restart my search. When I was finally ready, Stacey jumped right in, even while just days away from her due date of her first child, and she handled it wonderfully. Buying a home is overwhelming, but especially for a first time homebuyer. Stacey helped me navigate through the process, made sure she looked out for my best interest, and kept track of things I never even thought of. She has also made sure I've stayed on top of things after closing! I look forward to working with Stacey again in the future, and have already recommended her to a family member.

As first time home buyers, my fiancé and I appreciated that no question seemed to be too basic for her to answer – and we had a lot of them! Stacey is very friendly and was always prompt in her communication. She was kind and straightforward at once. We would definitely recommend her to someone looking to buy a home! Stacey reached out to us via Facebook. She saw that I showed interest in a house, and left a comment saying she could show us the house if we were interested. We met shortly after that at Grounds for Celebration and discussed our needs, later seeing the house. I love how she took the initiative to find us! It was a good partnership :-) We also appreciated the use of the moving truck! We were able to move all of our furniture in one trip! Stacey is extremely knowledgeable about Des Moines. We even used the mortgage lender that she suggested, and it could not have been easier! All in all, we are very satisifed about working with Stacey Smith, and we would gladly work with her again. (Though we intend to stick around at this house for a while!) We never thought we would have a personal relationship with our realtor, but we look forward to one day having Stacey into our home now that we're getting settled in.

Stacey was such an awesome realtor to work with! She sat down with my husband & I at a local coffee shop, and explained all things we needed to know as first time home buyers. We really appreciated the time she took to do that. She prepped us by describing the home-buying process in a way that we could understand, truly wanted to know what we were looking for in a home, explained how she felt she was the perfect fit in helping us find a dream house, and also wanting to know what we expected from her. She has been so sincere & approachable, always answering all our questions and communicating in a very timely manner. She did a fantastic job of making sure we got showings of homes we were interested in, sometimes even just minutes after we asked! We are so happy we chose to work with Stacey- she helped us seal the deal on our dream first home, and I know she truly cares about her clients, striving to develop genuine relationships to help get things accomplished...which is so much better than just treating this like a business. I wouldn't be able to thank Stacey enough for making my first time home buying so easy! She is very knowledgeable and if she doesn't know the answer she goes out of her way to find out the answer for you.
