I was impressed with the offices sale rate and was very impressed with Tom the first time we spoke. He knew the market and understood the challenges of trying to sell a home from a different state. Tom is a true professional in every aspect; very old school mindset of taking care of the customer while keeping me informed during every step of the process. There was true collaboration and never felt like he was selling the house for a commission but because he had pride in the way he handles himself and his business. Tom was on top of every detail from helping get the house ready for pictures to helping secure a roofer to all the little items that needed to be dealt with to get to closing. He exceeded all my expectations and made the process as easy as possible under difficult circumstances. I honestly had no dealings with the office or the staff, everything went through Tom. Top notch!

First of all, Tom Belderbos is extremely professional in how he handles every aspect of the transaction, from listing to closing. He has a rare quality which is "follow-through." Whether it was listing the property on the MLS promptly, or conveying the decisions of the customer to the buyer's agent, or making sure that every detail of the sale is completed without delay. He made sure that the buyer's responsibilities were completed as per the contract (I.e., inspections completed by the required timeline). He also reminded us of anything we needed to do to close on time. He also handled concerns of the buyer in an honest and tactful manner. Tom Belderbos Has exceptional interpersonal skills. He communicates with honesty and makes himself available for any questions you may have, or to discuss strategies, etc. If he is showing the house or talking with someone when you call him, he is quick to return your calls. He is respectful and polite at all times and NEVER misleads you. You know exactly where thing stand with your house sale at all times. Tom is definitely results oriented. He learns every aspect of your home so he can answer any questions posed by buyers or their agents. He is honest and fair and won't mislead you just so he gets a listing or sale (he will NOT try to convince you that your house is worth more than it is, just to get the listing). That is a rare quality in an agent. The house was shown and offers came in beginning just days of the MLS listing. Tom handled each of them in an honest and professional manner. There wasn't even time to put the printed ads in the paper. As offers began coming in, Tom communicated our contractual demands in a tactful manner to the buyers' agents (i.e., the minimum deposit acceptable to us, the amount of time to close, etc.) so as not to intimidate the buyer in any way. Once the right contract was accepted by us, Tom made sure that every aspect of the contract was completed in the time-frame indicated. He showed great follow through! My wife and I felt totally at ease with Tom and the manner in which he handled the sale. It was without the slightest amount of stress and that was mainly because Tom was so responsible in communicating with us throughout the entire sales process all the way up to the closing. We would highly recommend Tom as one of the best real estate agents out there today. He's a true performer in this field.
