As prospective buyers coming from out of state (Texas), We made our first contact with Ann Hancock inquiring about a property she had listed on Zillow. During that phone conversation Ann asked if she could be our buyer's agent. We said we were not quite ready to make that decision yet. A couple of weeks later my wife and I made plans to travel to NC to see potential properties and we contacted Ann again. We said we would accept her as our buyer's agent only if she directly represented us herself. She agreed. Visiting from Texas in April 2017, we spent a week in NC seeing potential properties for a new home. As our buyer's agent, Ann gave us her undivided attention for three full working days of that week showing us several different properties we had selected prior to our visit, as well as a few she found that met our needs. By the end of that week, we made a decision on a property in southeast Granville County and made an offer. Ann was very diligent about executing the offer process and we had a contract before we left NC to return home to Texas. Additionally, Ann was always available by cell phone during our stay and promptly answered or returned our calls. Ann was very understanding of the limited time for our property search in NC, and worked diligently to maximize every moment of it. During the contract period prior to closing, Ann and her agency was very professional in the timely handling of all required inspections and subsequent Due Diligence negations. We closed on our new home within a month of returning to Texas. To say she was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, accessible, respectful, and above all, professional, goes without saying. It is obvious to us that Ann is the successful professional she is, because of these genuine attributes.
