Jason Donald
I'm Jason Donald, and many have known me as your friendly, small-town mail carrier of the
Interior since 2003, serving downtown Fairbanks, the business district of Van Horn Rd, and
North Pole, where I plan to continue delivering mail to residents until retirement. I moved to
Fairbanks in 1993 as a U.S. Army Infantryman, where I met my wife, a 3rd generation Alaskan,
and our family began.
I finished my Army career in 1998 at Ft. Drum, New York, and applied to the U.S.P.S., where I
started as a mail carrier north of Philadelphia, near my childhood home, in Horsham, PA. Family
circumstances brought us back to North Pole where our family has continued to live. In my free
time, I have volunteered with school running clubs and coached baseball, travel ball, high
school baseball, and high school softball. Once our middle child graduated in May of 2018, I
turned my volunteer efforts to Santa's Letter's North Pole, where I serve as the non-profit's
treasurer and my family volunteers to answer children's letters to Santa Claus.
I'm excited to experience this adventure with you, which is just a new way of connecting with
and serving our local community and families. I am a no-nonsense communicator and will work
with you to find a home that will make you feel like you've found your place in our community.
I look forward to calling upon the connections I've made in the Interior over the last 30 years to
help benefit you.
