As a retired mechanical engineer from the automotive, shipbuilding, and energy industries, I am very good at two things: 1.) Numbers and 2.) Details. Is the property in a flood zone? What is the rental history of the property? Does the property require a commercial loan or a conventional mortgage? And that is just scratching the surface.
