Judy Hardaway
Judy grew up in the San Joaquin Valley (Dos Palos) on a small dairy. She and her siblings learned to help their parents milk the cows and do all the other chores that are part of daily life on a farm.
Some of her favorite times were visits to her aunt, who lived in a small mountain town. Judy fell in love with her aunt's town and hoped she would someday live in just such a charming, historical locale.
Before she and her husband John sold their ag-related business in Firebaugh, they purchased some acreage just above Mariposa.in Midpines. It was close enough to visit on weekends, and after a time drilled the well, parked a travel trailer, and spent weekends and other free time enjoying their property and getting to know Mariposa.
Finally, in 1995 they were able to build their dream home and move here.
