The Monterey Peninsula: God's Gift to 'all' who have been blessed to have seen, experienced... or live; in the most glorious place on earth! I fell in love with Monterey in 1982. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Maki, for 21 years. We have 2 sons, Danovan and Nicolas, whom I have been blessed. I have been with the company for 19 years, and I am fortunate to have a supporting staff of not one, but three professional brokers; who have guided, taught, and built 'character' in me.
I first
came to Monterey in 1982, and it was 'love at first sight'. My journey began in the hospitality field. I tended bar at the "Tap Room" for two years and became a waiter at The Club XIX . I started caddying in 1986 and continue to do so; caddying is very complimentary to my real estate profession. I have been fortunate to have met many people from around the world. Some of my golf clients come several times during the year; to play golf at Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and Spanish Bay.
My daily walk along the shores of these majestic golf venues has been an education. Imagine spending five hours a day with people from all walks of life! We talk about family, worldly events, the stock market, travel; people's hopes, dreams, fears, failures, accomplishments... the history of Monterey ? places to go, things to see and do, and of course, the Real Estate Market!
During our lifetime, we have choices... different roads we can choose. Every decision we make has its consequences. For every action there is a reaction. We are here today, at this very place in time, because of the roads we have taken. The past is history; we may never travel back to change the course of time. The future is uncertain. We cannot teleport to places we need to be 'right now!' We are all in such a hurry to get there. The truth is, "It is not our destination. but our journey!" The steps we take and the experiences we make; good or bad, happy or sad, are what build lasting memories and make us who we are!
