With over six decades of connection to the Santa Barbara area, I bring a lifetime of local knowledge, business experience, and community involvement to my real estate practice. Born in Indonesia and raised in the Netherlands, my family immigrated to the United States in 1960, settling first in Carpinteria before putting down lasting roots in Goleta and Santa Barbara. I attended local schools — Goleta Union Elementary, Goleta Valley Junior High, Dos Pueblos High School, and Santa Barbara City College — and have proudly called this community home ever since. After serving with the Santa Barbara Fire Department, I pursued my entrepreneurial dreams and, in 1988, opened O'Malley's on State Street. For 36 years, I ran this beloved local establishment before retiring in 2024. Along the way, I earned my real estate license and have been actively involved in the real estate market for over 20 years, both as an agent and an investor. I genuinely enjoy helping clients — especially friends and families — navigate the path to homeownership and find a place they love in this incredible part of California. Whether you're buying, selling, or exploring your options, I bring a personal, professional, and community-first approach to every transaction.

Buyer Review
Marco Gonzalez, Oak View
All aspects of purchasing a new house were new to me but Jimmy explained everything well. I was never nervous or uncomfortable because he made everything easy for us!
Jimmy was always available or responded quickly to any emails or phone calls, which was crucial to us as new home buyers.
