Sitting with my 91 year old uncle and his recalcitrant ranch hand to fill out all of the disclosure documents, she had unbelievable patience and gently pried out all the information she needed. Her Real Estate Services Proposal and a later update of the Market Analysis was superb. One cousin who had bought and sold properties over the years in at least five states said it was the best analysis he had ever seen. Since we were not present on the property during the sale process, Arlee graciously took on many tasks normally done by the seller. She arranged and monitored repairs and cleaning, guided the on-site care taker on what had to be done, did many minor repairs (including buying the materials needed) and cleaning tasks herself, arranged for all of the tests and inspections (well, pest, home, etc.), searched for permits, mapped out the septic lines with the care taker, and in effect did what needed to be done. We had complete trust in her judgement. If she said something had to be done, we always agreed, advanced her the money and she took care of it. Arlee was easily accessible and always responded promptly to the many questions and issues that arose. Her knowledge of the real estate industry, the government requirements, the local environment, and how to manage the process was fantastic. Arlee did an outstanding job on every aspect of the sale. She got us a sale price above what we expected and was a great interface between us (as an absentee seller) and the buyer. She even had a backup offer waiting in the wings. I was looking for a broker that handled million listings. I researched the Santa Rosa area and settled on Century 21, a familiar name. I called the Santa Rosa office and was fortunate to have Arlee Geary answer the telephone. Arlee was the best. She exceeded all expectations by a wide margin.
