Byron Gittens, MBA
My name is Byron Gittens and I am your dedicated Connecticut Realtor. As a New York City native, with family in CT, we visited frequently throughout my childhood; much to my delight as I have always loved the area. I then relocated to Windsor in 1990, and I completed high school here. As a result, over the years I have become very familiar with the beautiful state of Connecticut, and I am proud to call it my home. Assisting you wherever you live, or desire to call home, is my absolute pleasure. I am also looking forward to helping you no matter where you are in your real estate journey; as a buyer or seller. I am very detail-oriented and self-motivated, and I will handle every aspect with professionalism and care, to ensure that the entire process of relocation is a pleasure for you. I am able to internally refer you globally as well if you are looking outside of Connecticut or the USA.
I have over 34 years of delivering excellent customer service, fostering trusted client relationships, handling procurement, negotiating, marketing/branding, and budgeting, as well as project management expertise. I have helped clients in a wide variety of other industries including retail, fleet management, hotel, airline, banking, and higher education. All my experience and relationships with my clients have flourished because of my genuine interest in their needs, my responsive and trusting nature and, as I’ve been told, my engaging personality. Growing up in the hustle and bustle of New York City has also prepared me to be comfortable working at a fast pace and to meet and exceed the diverse needs of all individuals; as I am aware that “one size does not fit all.”
I am thrilled to be part of the Century 21 family, and with good reason. My fascination with real estate began in 1984 when my childhood home was being renovated and sold. I saw a complete transformation of the interior as they had our home renovated and prepared it to go on the market. The process opened my eyes to the possibilities of interior design, modifying aesthetics, and landscaping for curb appeal, to increase the value of a home. As my mother picked us up from the next door neighbor’s home after work, I remember peering out the car window as we were leaving 100th Avenue in Queens Village for the last time, seeing a brown-white- gold sign saying, “Century 21”. For me, the brand is nostalgic, and even 39 years later I feel I made the right decision to join our Century 21 team. Let me, Byron Gittens with Century 21 Clemens Group, help you fulfill all your real estate needs and make your dreams come true....
