I came to Melbourne,Fl in 1958 at the height of the space race. What a time to grow up on the Space Coast. I became a teacher here in Brevard County like my parents before me. Mid life I was off to North Carolina for 27 years and retired from the North Carolina Department of Education. During that time I became a part time realtor and invested in several properties. After retiring I moved back to Melbourne in 1999 and became a full time realtor. I have been a Century 21 Realtor for over twenty years now in south Brevard county and proud of the association. I'm a boomer and I'm happy to help fellow boomers find their place in the sun here in the Melbourne Area.

Seller Review
Marylou Symonds, Maryland
We live out of state in Maryland so when it came time to find a broker to sell the house I inherited in Florida, I called a lifelong friend who still lives in Brevard County. She recommended two realtors, and I called Wiley Eliott first. Since I liked him immediately, I never made the second call.
Wiley was great to work with. Not only was he professional and knowledgeable and listened well to our needs, but he was also incredibly sensitive. This was my recently deceased mother's house and buyers were turned off by the layers of wallpaper and other decorative coverings. Wiley helped us see for ourselves that her life work would have to be stripped, and understood and commiserated about how emotionally difficult that was. I would recommend him highly.

Wiley Testimonial
I have known Wiley Elliott for many years as we were high school classmates at Melbourne High School, and we have numerous mutual friends. I reconnected with Wiley several years ago and we now meet on a weekly basis with friends and former classmates for breakfast. I have always known Wiley to be a very caring, honest, trustworthy individual, and I know other people in the area who have had business dealings with Wiley in the past, and they had expressed satisfaction with their representation by Wiley.
I have several friends who are in the real estate business, but when we decided to place our home on the market and it came to selecting someone to represent us, Wiley Elliott stood out at the top of the list. Wiley took the time to sit down with us on several occasions to discuss the marketing strategies for the home, what the upsides were for placing the home on the market at the time we did, and what the impediments might be. He also offered up some alternative ideas related to whom we could target as potential buyers for the house, and followed up on those ideas.
There was a possible stumbling block along the way related to improvements that the prospective home buyers wished to do to the house if purchased, and whether the HOA would allow these improvements, and inquiries if the buyers could get a guarantee prior to the sale that these improvements could indeed be done. The HOA responded that it could not approve any architectural request for change prior to the house sale. Wiley worked with the buyer’s representative and with a representative of the HOA to provide the buyers the assurances they needed to continue with the purchase process on the house.
We are very pleased with the way Wiley handled the entire transaction…he kept us well informed on the progress of the sale along the way, what would be required at closing, and the sale was completed in a timely fashion without any other issues.
In closing, for these reasons I would not hesitate to recommend Wiley Elliott to anyone in the market to buy or sell a home.
