Roy Grever brings an engineer’s precision, a longtime Florida resident’s local insight, and a service-minded approach to every real estate relationship. Based on Florida’s Gulf Coast, Roy helps buyers, sellers, and relocating clients make confident decisions with clear guidance, practical perspective, and a deep appreciation for the way people truly live in their homes.
A FLORIDA STORY WITH MIDWESTERN ROOTS
Born in southern Ohio, Roy developed an early love for the ocean and anything nautical often vacationing on the coasts of Virginia and Florida. His journey has taken him from New York to Texas however with lifelong friends and family already in the Sunshine State, he moved to Florida in 1996, first settling in Sarasota and later in Jupiter. Today, after moving from Juno Beach to Bradenton in 2022, Roy proudly calls the Gulf Coast home.
AN ENGINEER’S EYE FOR REAL ESTATE
Before entering real estate, Roy built a career in mechanical design and contract engineering. He is alumni of both University of Cincinnati and Xavier. He has worked with companies and industries ranging from General Electric and Procter & Gamble to Aerospace, Navy Battle Ships to Humvees and deep sea marine exploration to space technology. His final contract involved designing tooling for Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket. That background gives Roy a practical advantage: he understands how homes are built, what quality construction looks like, and which renovations are realistic, valuable, and worth considering.
For buyers, Roy offers clear insight before, during, and after the inspection process. For sellers, he provides honest guidance on improvements that can strengthen value and market appeal. His goal is simple: help every client feel informed, prepared, and confident.
EXPERIENCE FROM EVERY SIDE OF THE PROCESS
Roy has bought, sold, renovated, and rented a wide range of properties, including historic homes, pool homes, Bayfront residences, and condos. His renovation of a small Victorian home was featured in Cincinnati Magazine as part of the district’s “Painted Ladies,” giving him firsthand experience with the rewards and challenges of restoring historic properties. He has also lived in both HOA and condo communities and currently serves as President of a small condo association on Perico Island, just west of Anna Maria Island.
COMMUNITY-FOCUSED SERVICE
Service has always been an important part of Roy’s life. He volunteers with the Red Cross, previously served in Auxiliary Services under Pastoral Care at Jupiter Medical Center and helped open Florida’s first hurricane shelter during the COVID-19 pandemic. His commitment to helping people extends naturally into his work in real estate.
