Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Jeff Nicholson, of Palm Beach Florida, served thirty years in the United
States Army as an Intelligence Officer. Jeff’s most recent work role was as a lead researcher
providing the US State Department and foreign partners insights into the conflicts in East Africa. He
began his career stationed in Germany as a demolitions expert and later as a German linguist. He
was commissioned a Military Intelligence officer as a distinguished military graduate while serving
with 19 th Special Forces. He is a decorated combat veteran with multiple combat tours in Iraq and
Afghanistan. He served as a division chief for the US National Security Agency, as an inspector
general for US Forces Command, and as the primary intelligence advisor for The Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia Royal Land Forces. Jeff has advised several non-profits and start-ups ranging from
orphanages in Afghanistan to energy micro-grids in North Africa. He served in various volunteer
leadership positions including leading an inner-city mission and as a Scoutmaster with the Boy
Scouts of America. Jeff is a trained parachutist, master SCUBA diver, marathon and ultra-runner, and
Krav Maga combatives instructor. He holds a master’s in management from Harvard Extension
School and is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College....
