> I am a native Floridian, born and raised in Tampa. I consider myself an expert on the Tampa Bay Area as I have watched it grow into the regional powerhouse that it is today. I graduated from the University of Tampa where I also played baseball. I was fortunate enough to be drafted by the New York Yankees and pitch in the Major Leagues. Following my playing career, I went into coaching and have been coaching baseball at The University of Tampa for the last 22 years.
