I had just about given up on finding a new place to live, that is until I called CENTURY 21 Smith, Branch & Pope's office. An older gentleman by the name of Parks Jones answered the phone. From the moment he spoke, I could immediately sense the experience, wisdom, and candor in his voice. How refreshing! Parks Jones asked what my budget constraints were and my location preference. By the next day, he had found four houses that matched my parameters. I couldn't believe how rapid his response time was. Mr. Jones showed me all the homes (plus more!) and was quite knowledgeable about what to look for when purchasing a sound and structural home. This is not surprising because Parks has a vast store of knowledge in the building trades business as well. He was able to immediately answer all of my questions about the type of materials used, whether something was a concern or not, the cost associated with fixing a feature of the property, etc. His skills certainly came in handy when some decking had to be updated. Parks orchestrated hiring a contractor to have the updates completed prior to the home inspection. All of which had exceeded my expectations.
When it came to placing an offer on the home, Parks Jones is also a skillful negotiator. I don't know how he did it, but he was able to get an even better deal on the house! His communication skills are par excellence whether it is verbally, via text messaging, or email, he is available to help you through the process.
The bottom line is that Parks Jones is a patient realtor who doesn't want you to rush into purchasing a home. His overall goal for the buyer is to be 110% satisfied with the purchase whether it is a 110K or 600K home.
