As an absentee owner needing to sell a single family residence in Morton Grove, I traveled there in June to take possession and get it listed for sale. I met him on a Monday. By the time I left the following Monday, he had put me together with the contractors who then put the house in a condition to sell.
Mr. Marino exhibited professionalism and substantial local knowledge during our first meeting and he suggested certain improvements (remove carpet and vinyl tiles to expose and then recondition hardwood floors, update the kitchen, bathrooms and full basement including separate living quarters and laundry area, numerous repairs and fresh paint throughout to get the house in a good condition to market AND he went well beyond my expectations by introducing me to and then managing the tradesmen who ultimately did the work. Mr. Marino's assistance in getting the property ready to show was extraordinary. He knew whom to call for the various tasks and he saw to it that they completed the work, all with in period of just 6 weeks or so.
Once the house was ready to be shown, we received numerous offers and reached agreement with the Buyer within a week for a transaction that closed within the month I cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Marino's services as my agent.
