My wife and I were looking to buy a house for the second time and were moving to the Rockford area from out of town. We were lucky enough to find Eric online by reading other glowing reviews of him.
He was immediately responsive to us contacting him. He always had time to show us homes whatever day and time worked for us and was very patient with us as we house hunted every weekend for a month and looked at quite a few homes. His extensive knowledge of the area was clear from the beginning.
Eric listened to what we wanted but also provided suggestions and feedback about the houses we saw. He was never trying to just make a sale. Rather he was the first one to point out all the issues with a house, problems that my wife and I often did not notice.
When we made an offer on a house, he helped a lot with the negotiation and kept us informed constantly. Once we were under contract, he kept us informed of how things were progressing and gave us great advice throughout the whole process. Eric went out of his way to get extra information about the house (construction, septic and well plans, etc.) and was with us every step of the way all the way through closing day.
On top of everything else, Eric is a really nice guy and easy to get along with, which is important when you spend so much time house hunting together.
Eric is incredibly hard working and made us feel like the only clients he had. He went above and beyond in every aspect of the home buying process.
In the future, if we sell our home we will ask Eric to help us sell. If we buy another in the area, we will ask Eric help us buy. And we will recommend Eric to anyone we know in the area or anyone moving to the area.
Eric is amazing and we cannot recommend him highly enough!
