Mike helps buyers and sellers navigate the Saugatuck-area luxury and second-home market, with a particular focus on clients purchasing or selling from a distance. With 24 years of real estate experience and a deep understanding of the local market, he provides trusted insight, discretion, and hands-on support at every stage of the process.
Having transitioned from seasonal visitor to full-time resident himself, Mike offers a firsthand perspective on what makes the lakeshore communities so special. From virtual showings to smooth, well-managed closings, he serves as his clients' eyes, ears, and advocate on the ground. An experienced home renovator, Mike also guides buyers through the process of updating and enhancing a property--helping coordinate vision, value, and logistics even when clients are hours away--so each home reaches its full potential.
Mike works throughout the lakeshore communities, including Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville, South Haven, Holland, and the many great spots in between. Whether clients are searching for a waterfront retreat, a private property with acreage, or an investment opportunity, he provides thoughtful guidance and strategic advice. As a seasoned investor himself, Mike is uniquely qualified to assist buyers interested in long-term rentals or properties that can be enjoyed personally while also generating short-term rental income.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Mike spent many years visiting the Saugatuck area before making it his full-time home--and now can't imagine living anywhere else. Whether buying or selling, he would be thrilled to help clients achieve their real estate goals. Outside of work, Mike enjoys traveling, cooking, and home renovation projects. He lives in Saugatuck with his husband and their two French Bulldogs.
