I have been a Realtor® for over half my live (32+ years) and an Associate Broker since 2005.
I decided to become an agent because I love to serve. Prior to becoming an agent I was a server in a couple of high end country clubs and restaurants as well as a couple of establishments similar to the "Cheers" TV show. I live by "Dedication" which is the act of dedicating, the state of being dedicated. My dedication to Real Estate is so great that I have time for little else. This is only a part of my attitude toward my career. I started selling Real Estate as a part time job in 1990 to supplement the family income. Today it has become an "all-time" career and i love it...finishing each year with an award for excellence and production.
Nothing brings greater joy than to help a single mom who never thought she could buy a home to the senior citizen that is overwhelmed by the whole process of bundling up their 50 years of stuff and relocating to a small one bedroom condo. Specifically with this client, i arranged an estate sale, netter her $11,000 and arranged for people to move her to her new home.
My Favorite part of being an agent is the happiness I feel making someone's dream of homeownership come true as well as the relief a Seller has of selling their home and moving on to their next phase of life.
My advise to all y clients, both the buyer and seller is have faith and confidence in their agent but be understanding that there will be bumps and bruises along the way...
