The fact that I am sitting here typing this testimonial from our new home still feels like a dream.
My husband and I had looked at numerous homes, but none fit the bill. One we loved, but it had certain structural defects. Another sold before we could see it. Each day the market selection with our desired details was dwindling, or priced outside our comfort zone. Nick was prepared to go knocking on doors!!
Then one day, a house came on the market that we had to go see. We walked though it the first time on its 4th day on the market. I know I wanted it, and so did my husband. But our other home wasn't yet market ready. Nick talked with the other agent and we began to work feverishly so we wouldn't lose the house. Miraculously, we were finally able to submit the offer before it sold and it was accepted.
Unfortunately, we were met with some frustrating items on the inspection, and we had made a decision to move on. Still, we were unable to find another place that could hold a candle to the house we loved.
One afternoon, as my husband slept after his night shift, I received a call from Nick and our other agent, Joslyn, regarding an offer received on our home, as well as news on the house we wanted. The sellers wanted to work with us, and were really interested in not having us walk away from the sale. It was too good to be true. I think I cried most of the afternoon that day. I can still hear his voice on the phone when he called to tell us that.
After some negotiating and a re-inspection, we were finally able to walk into a closing on what my husband proudly calls our "dream home". It's only been a couple of weeks since we moved in, but it is starting to feel real. Our daughters settled in right away, and even our dogs seem more at peace in the new home. We feel extremely blessed to have a little piece of heaven, and know that there was someone watching out for us and our dreams.
We thank Nick for being so diligent and educational about everything, and for being patient. Every home we looked at with Nick, there was something to learn, and we used what we learned in the preparation of our own home to sell. He was always very professional, and I have already recommended Nick and the Solomon Team to my friends and family.
