Upon entering the work force I worked in the banking industry for 35 years. When it was time to change to another venue I wanted to find a job that allowed me to deal with people and be a service to them. Real estate was the field I chose and I can truly say that I have enjoyed the results of making that decision. Being a senior citizen myself, I enjoy helping seniors with their Real Estate needs in their retirement phase of life. It also very rewarding to be able to work with and help First Time Buyers along with anyone else who has Real Estate needs. During my 15 years of being in Real Estate I have worked at three different agencies and truthfully say Century 21 is my favorite. I have lived in Alexander County all my life but the majority of my work is in Hickory and the Unifour area. My husband and I have been married for 54 plus years. We have 2 sons, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. God gave me a gift for the love of music and blessed me with the opportunity to be a pianist at our church, Mt. Herman Baptist in Taylorsville, NC. I also play the organ at horse shows during the summer and have traveled over most of the Southeast following that hobby. The important things in my life come in the order of God and church, family, especially grandkids and great grandkids, then Work and helping people fulfill their needs and dreams. I am very grateful for the many blessings God has blessed me with and also for the opportunities I have been given while being in the Real Estate business. I hope to continue working as long as my health allows me to. Real Estate has been a good business to be a part of, even though it is not always easy. Rewards seem greater when it takes effort to achieve success.
