I began my career in real estate in June 2002 using my background in Human Resources, Marketing and Inside Sales. Within my first three years of real estate, I earned the designations of ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) and gained my Associate Broker. I continued learning my field of practice with additional education through the SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource) designation.
As the "Rookie of the Year" in 2003 and a top sales agent in the Smith
Mountain Lake office, I transferred to the Lynchburg sales office during the merger of Owens & Company REALTORS® with Long & Foster REALTORS® and was later named Branch Manager in 2006. in 2010, I joined Century 21 ALL-SERVICE where I served as General Manager for their five offices located throughout Central Virginia handling their Business Development and Training. Due to my true passion of educating others about real estate, I was approved by the State of Virginia to hold a Pre-License Instructor Certification to teach Principles of Real Estate and named General Manager of Century 21 ALL-SERVICE. After relocating to Wilmington, NC in 2018, I earned my NC Broker license and later opened my over firm, while continuing to work for the Virginia firm for an additional five years. Joining Century 21 Vanguard in 2023 as their Broker-In-Charge allowed me to fully immerse myself in the Wilmington real estate community.
During my sales career, I received numerous accolades from both the Lynchburg and Roanoke Valley Association of REALTORS®. I earned certifications as Buffini Mentor, Integrity Coach, and am a past Instructor at the SWVA Long & Foster University and graduate of their Management Academy as well as a Century 21 Certified Manager. I have been an avid volunteer within my community and have served on numerous committees within the local REALTOR® Associations.
I was proud to serve for five years on the Lynchburg Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors including President Elect, President and Immediate Past President as well as Chair for the Program Committee and Forms Task Forms.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends on the beach or taking advantage of the numerous water activities our area offers.
