Mindy Benesh was the utmost professional and she was there for us every step of the way. We occasionally had questions after work hours and she always made sure to reach out and answer them for us. She kept us apprised of the situation every step of the way, explained the contracts we were signing before we signed them, and it really felt like she had our best interests in mind and not simply the goal of making the sale. She came with us for every walk through of the property and consistently pointed out things that should be addressed, or raised concerns that we had never even considered. It felt like no matter what happened, she was always in our corner. We had an offer accepted on a town house and the seller received a higher offer while we were in attorney review and killed the deal. We were very upset and Mindy sat with us and explained that there are ruthless people out there who just want to sell for every nickel they can get and do not care about the people buying the home. She advised that everything happens for a reason and our true home is out there. She really made us feel comfortable in a very troubling time. We kept looking and Mindy found us this beautiful bi-level house in a great neighborhood being sold by another family with children. We had an excellent feeling from the moment we stepped on the property, and now that house that Mindy found us is going to be our home. We could not have asked for a better experience or a better realtor than Mindy, and we will surely be recommending her to anyone we know looking for a house.
Mindy made sure that we understood all of our rights and all of the contractual terms we were agreeing to. She helped us recover from losing a town house where we were going to pay $20,000 over asking and found us a home being sold by a great family and negotiated down to the list price of the house. She took us to several open houses and made sure to let us know which houses were below our standards, and which houses we should not even bother trying to put in an offer on. We also appreciated this because it saved us from inevitable rejections.
Mindy was excellent in all aspects. She was always professional and she treated us like people, not clients she was was trying to get to buy a house. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and we trusted that she had our best interest in mind. After buying our home, we have no doubt that she did.
