We did our homework to select our realtor based solely on best sales statistics. Our choice paid off. Jason managed the bidding/offer process intuitively. His knowledge of the the competitive landscape & "read" on potential buyers was invaluable as he knew the pros & cons of our listing vs others in our area. On his advice we priced higher than we imagined the house would bring, and still accepted an offer for $12K above asking price. (While other realtors advised us to go far lower).
