David has been working with families for over 40 years. After meeting his wife, Joy, in college in 1976 they were married in 1979. Their marriage, now going on 50 years, has blessed them with two wonderful sons, now grown young men, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren. David joined Transamerica Financial in 1979, and for the next 35 years, he helped families with their insurance, investment, and retirement decisions to improve the quality of their lives. Now part of the Century 21 Blackwell & Co. Realty team, David brings a wealth of experience helping families achieve their dreams and goals. Understanding from his financial background that a home is in many cases a family's single greatest asset, David works hand-in-hand with his buyer clients to help them find the home they desire at the price they are seeking. His goal is not to just sell his clients' home, but to help them find the home about which they can truly say, “THIS IS IT.” For his seller clients, David works very hard to market the seller's home through multiple advertising venues. He focuses on getting the home shown to prospective buyers at every opportunity with the goal of helping the seller achieve the desired sales price. While David is licensed to help families buy and sell homes anywhere in South Carolina, he focuses most of his time and talent on working with families in the Upstate area as he is a life-long resident of the Upstate and a native South Carolinian. David and his family reside in Boiling Springs, SC. Much of David's focus is in Northern Spartanburg County, as he specializes in helping clients find acreage and horse farm property as well as lake property in that area.
