Michelle Mathis
I, Michelle Mathis, am a realtor licensed in North and South Carolina, with a mission to help people find their peace through homeownership. My father has roots in South Carolina, and my mother is from overseas. I was born in the South Bay area of Los Angeles and raised in the harbor & beach towns of Long Beach and San Pedro, surrounded by diverse communities. Growing up with a mixed heritage in a diverse community taught me to connect easily with people from all over the world.
As one of six children in a family that moved often, I learned early how much a secure home matters. When my father retired to South Carolina, he was coming back to his father's roots. After recently losing both my parents, I eventually made the Upstate my home too.
I approach every client from their unique perspective, not mine. My job is to bring integrity, transparency, and long-term thinking so you have the right opportunity and information to make the best decision for yourself, whether you're a first-time buyer, a family in transition, or a seller planning your next chapter. I also believe a home is more than just a place to reside. Your home should also support your well-being, which is why I care about thoughtful design and a functional living environment suited for your needs.
When I'm not working, you'll find me exploring a nearby town, hiking a trail, near the mountains, beaches or a lake, fitting in a workout, or at home with my two cats. I'm here not just to help you find a house, but to help you find your place, your peace, and your future....
