Jose Torres, Broker/Owner
CENTURY 21 Republic
Jose Torres is the Broker/Owner of CENTURY 21 Republic and a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served for 20 years. With more than 25 years of experience in finance, real estate, and project management at the national and international levels, he brings an analytical approach and a commitment to service to every client relationship.
Jose’s interest in real estate began with purchasing his first townhome as a young sailor. That experience showed him how thoughtfully chosen real estate can build equity and support a family’s long-term financial goals. He began his real estate career helping residential buyers find properties with value and potential, and that same investment-minded approach continues to guide his work today.
His background in finance and business led him to expand into commercial real estate, with a focus on investment properties, farms, self-storage facilities, warehouses, mobile home parks, and RV parks. He enjoys researching opportunities, evaluating financial performance, and developing business models that help clients understand a property’s potential and make informed decisions.
Jose holds an MBA and a Master of Finance from Tulane University, along with an undergraduate degree from Columbia University. As a broker, he combines that education with practical experience to guide clients and support the agents at CENTURY 21 Republic. He values preparation, clear communication, and building relationships that last beyond the closing table.
Community service is also an important part of Jose’s life, including his role as a Lions Club president. He and his wife, Moire Torres, have four children and have called the Houston area home for more than a decade. Outside of work, they enjoy Houston SaberCats and Astros games, but their favorite place to cheer is on the sidelines watching their boys play rugby....

Working with this realtor was a great experience from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and kept me informed throughout the entire sale. Their expertise helped sell my commercial property quickly and at a fair price. I highly recommend them to anyone buying or selling commercial real estate....
