I am the spouse of a retired military officer, and together we raised 3 kids, in 14 duty stations over 32 years. I understand the huge task of moving and relocating. I have moved more than 18 times, and I understand how important and stressful it can be to find new communities, new activities and new schools. Real estate wasn't my first career, but when I had the opportunity to evaluate what I wanted to do with my life, I knew that I wanted to combine my passion for "loving a challenge" with my ability to help families transition, and becoming a Realtor was the obvious choice! When I started in 2005, the market was booming, but quickly declined, and that offered me the opportunity to be in the forefront of a diversification in how people looked at real estate. I used my passion for real estate to help families that needed to sell in a declining market. I became a certified Short Sale Specialist to help those families through rough times, and I have been blessed to be part of helping other families in their adventures to make the most important and expensive investment of their lifetime.
Over a decade later, with my roots firmly planted in Virginia, I have sold over 120 million dollars of Real Estate. For the past ten years I have been one of Century 21's top 100 agents in the Mid-Atlantic Region. I have stayed completely vested in this ever-changing market and I fully utilize the resources I have discovered along my way: professional photographers, videographers, top notch settlement companies, lenders and inspectors. I also provide no-cost staging (as needed) and the technologies to create beautiful glossy marketing pieces to ensure that my clients homes are presented with class.

Paula Pummill was excellent to deal with and very professional in all respects. She reviewed the property before listing and told me exactly what I had to do to prep it for sale. She then staged the property very nicely, had a professional photographer take picture, advertised and otherwise did an outstanding job of presenting the townhouse in the best light possible. Her price estimate was right on (we had an appraisal prior to accepting an offer). The best real estate agent experience I have ever had. I would recommend Paula without reservation.
