After graduating from American University with a degree in Justice and a Minor in Spanish I went to work for the United States Tax Court in Washington D.C. I traveled all over the country with presidentially appointed Judges conducting trial sessions. I was often recognized by Judges and the government as an individual who could seamlessly interact and communicate with both government counsel and private citizens in complex and stressful situations. These skills have become an integral component of my success as a real estate professional. After 5 years of traveling from city to city, I decided it was time to put my carry on luggage in the basement and embark on a new journey in real estate. All of the experiences from this prior work life made me acutely aware of the concept of home and how important it is to find the right "home" for everyone, from business travelers to those that work from home. I take great pride in the fact that most of my business is from past clients and referrals. I have a go-above-and-beyond attitude when it comes to service for my clients and try to create as seamless and stress free transaction as possible. Born and raised in Fallbrook, California (the avocado capital of the world) I have enjoyed living in the Northern Virginia area, from Arlington to Reston. Ms. Michaels did a wonderful job handling the logistics of selling our house. She recommended an excellent price point which resulted in a quick sell which is what we said we wanted since we had already moved to our new home in Florida. One of here strong points is knowing the local market quite well. She was very helpful in navigating the bureaucracy of the Reston Association in getting required releases to sell. She was also quite helpful in lining up people to do some maintenance and cleaning. I agee fully with the person who recommended her to me that she comes with the highest recommendation.
