I grew up in Norwich, Vermont, spending time skiing at Burke Mountain as a kid. After receiving a bachelor's degree in art history from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Upstate New York, I spent many years traveling around the country and the world both as a ski coach when there was snow, and for fun and adventure when there wasn't.
