Meet Amy Tafoya
As a Cheyenne native, Amy is proud to call Wyoming home. She understands the value of a place that feels like home—and the importance of having someone you can trust by your side when making a real estate decision.
Family and community are at the heart of Amy’s life. She and her husband, who serves with the Sheriff’s Department, are raising three young children ages 7, 5, and 2. Their family life is buzzing with soccer games, karate practices, camping, and life with their two huskies. Amy is also an active PTO member at her children’s elementary school and enjoys giving her time back to the community.
Amy’s path to real estate has been shaped by a genuine passion for people and service. Before returning to the real estate industry, she owned and operated a small business serving the special needs community, an experience that continues to hold a special place in her heart. It taught her the importance of empathy, active listening, patience, and attention to detail—qualities she brings to every client relationship.
Amy understands that buying or selling a home can be an exciting milestone, but she also recognizes that it can be one of the most stressful and emotional times in a person’s life. Whether you’re purchasing your first home, finding the perfect place to raise your family, or preparing to sell a loved one’s home while navigating grief, Amy approaches every situation with compassion, discretion, and a commitment to making the process as smooth as possible.
For Amy, real estate isn’t simply about buying and selling property. It’s about people, relationships, and being there for the little things, too. She believes in treating her clients like family—not just during a transaction, but long after the closing table. If you accidentally have an Amazon package delivered to the home you just sold, she’ll reach out to the new owners to help get it back to you. And if you’re out of town and need someone to check on things, she’s the kind of person who will find a way to help.
For Amy, building a lasting client relationship means being someone her clients can genuinely count on. Her goal is simple—to listen, understand what matters most, and be there every step of the way....
