I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Education, a Master's degree from Troy University, and an Administrative degree from Auburn University Montgomery. After 25 years as a teacher, administrator, and Principal, I retired just long enough to study and acquire a Real Estate license. My reasoning for choosing Real Estate as a second career was to fulfill a love for interior, landscape, and architectural design. I realized that I could combine my design passion with Real Estate and be effective in the Real Estate profession. I believe my calling in life is to educate and to combine that calling with my passion for interior decorating, landscaping, and architectural design, I can effectively help others make the best choices in choosing or selling their home. With education as my lifetime experience and Real Estate as my present profession, my motto states: "Let Bert do your homework and you'll get it right!"

Seller reviewBert went over and beyond my expectations and marketing my home. She staged the home herself. She would even take her time to go to the home and make sure there were no bugs on the floor or leaves at the door so the house would show properly. I've never known a realtor to go to the extent of staging a home and doing everything in her power to sell that house. I would not use any other realtor.

Seller reviewHer care and concern for her clients is above board. She goes out of her way to make the house look beautiful for prospects. You can call her Day or night and she'll always answer. I don't think I could find a better agent anywhere. I already have recommended her to several other people. She is a top rate agent and it's always honest.

Buyer reviewI have worked with other highly noteworthy realtors but Ms Bert Owens definitely sticks out!! She listened earnestly to all of my wants and heeded to my every request each time. I can be a hard person to please but she accomplished this each time. She showed up when previous realtors were too busy to do so and by doing so she assisted me in finding my first home in Alabama. She nearly helped me purchase a second home and was so understanding when I changed my mind. Now we are currently working on my third home. I highly recommend Bert Owens to all serious home hunters in Montgomery!
