I've been a full-time Realtor® with Century 21 Redwood Realty since 2003, and throughout my career, one thing has remained constant: my clients' best interest is at the heart of everything I do. I truly love my job and have a deep passion for real estate, it's a privilege to guide people through such meaningful moments in their lives.
Over the years, I've been honored to be recognized as a consistent top agent with Century 21, earning awards such as the Double Centurion, Centurion, President's Producer, and Quality Service Pinnacle Producer. These recognitions reflect the trust my clients place in me and the results we achieve together.
Before real estate, I worked for the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City, where I learned the gold standard of customer service. Later, I spent seven years teaching Spanish at Garfield High School, which instilled in me a lasting desire to share knowledge and help others make confident, informed decisions. Both experiences continue to shape how I work today, blending high-level service with patience, guidance, and thoughtful support every step of the way.
I grew up in Northern Virginia, graduating from Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke. I studied at Calvin University in Michigan, completing two semesters abroad in Spain, before transferring to George Mason University, where I earned both my undergraduate degree in Spanish and a Master's in Education.
Since 1989, I've lived in Prince William County with my husband, Joe, where we've raised our family. Northern Virginia is home, and I'm proud to serve clients across the region-including Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Prince William, Stafford, Loudoun, and Spotsylvania counties.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my two grown daughters, our cockapoo Guster, and our cat Cody. I also enjoy traveling, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and staying active through masters rowing.

Buyer reviewKristin listened to my needs and supported me through the entire buying process. She made feel as if I was her only client. I highly recommend Kristin if you are looking for a realtor who will partner with you in the process of selling your home or if you are buying a new one.

Seller reviewI have worked with Kristin Burn twice, once buying a home and nine years later sailing the same home. Kristin came in, advice us on what needed to be done improvement wise to sale the home. She advices us the going price range for that sized home in that area. She had a large list of craftsman who could make the changes to choice from. Changes were made, property was listed and sold in four days for more than asking price. Kristin's professional work ethics overseeing the whole process moving smoothly and simple for us. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to buy or sale property anywhere in northern Virginia.

Buyer reviewThis particular purchase was our 6th real estate transaction with Kristin (we have had an additional sale with her since this purchase and will sell another property with her soon). We keep coming back to Kristin because of her skills, her passion, and her unique ability to completely. Understand the needs of her clients. This particular purchase was for us to "upsize" into a home that we wanted to make a multigenerational home for our family. 8 years ago Kristin helped us "downsize" into our empty nest home. Since Kristin stayed in touch over the years in between, she knew exactly what we were looking for and made it her mission to find us the perfect home. Hopefully after so many buys and sells we won't require Kristin's services as a realtor much more, but we would NEVER hesitate to refer our friends to her and are glad that she is part of our life.

Seller reviewWe have worked with Kristin on multiple real estate transactions and wouldn't even consider another realtor. Bottom line - she knows her stuff and is a true pro. Kirstin knows what it takes to market a property and is an expert at pricing. Initially we thought she was being overly optimistic at her suggested listing price on our home as we didn't have many good comparisons to rely on. But, we trusted her instincts and her determination and we ended up selling for far more than we expected. The relationship with Kristin doesn't end with the real estate transaction. She becomes a great friend in the process.

Seller reviewI found Kristin Burns from a recent sale of another property in the same neighborhood. She was very responsive in meeting with us as we began a renovation of the property and stayed in touch throughout that process. Once the renovation was completed, she provided excellent service throughout the sale including marketing plan, pricing, prelisting advice on staging, etc. All in all, she was great to work with in helping us move an extensive renovation project into a successful sale outcome. Couldn't have asked for or received any better service than what she provided.
