Most of the property is stocked with a stand of bottomland hardwood (a timber inventory estimate is availalble upon request). Several river sloughs are spread across the property creating wildlife wetland habitat. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the soil composition of the property is an assortment of silty clay loams that give the tract a weighted average site index of 90 feet for Cherrybark Red Oak (base age 50). The property lies about 10 miles southeast of Moro Bay Wildlife Management Area and 10 miles northwest of Felsenthal National Wildlife
