The Ouachita River Bend Tract (#03019-03565) is a +/- 40-acre parcel of timberland located in eastern Union County about 19 miles east of El Dorado, AR near the community of Moro Bay (North 33.270532, West 92.328328). The tract features over a half-mile of frontage lying along the right bank of the Ouachita River. Access is available with a gated gravel woodsroad running east from a river camp site area on Romeo Shoales RD. Most of the property is stocked with a stand of bottomland hardwood (a timber inventory estimate is availalble upon request). Several river sloughs are spread across the property creating wildlife wetland habitat. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the soil composition of the property is an assortment of silty clay loams that give the tract a weighted average site index of 90 feet for Cherrybark Red Oak (base age 50).
