The Coosawattee River Refuge is a diverse property in North Georgia that is set up well for entertaining and pursuing a multitude of recreational opportunities. A main cabin, guest cabin, ''game house'', and boat barn are thoughtfully placed throughout a gently rolling and wooded 26 acres that have great views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and are bound by the namesake of the property, the Coosawattee River. During the day, it is all about the river. Canoeing, swimming and grilling out while watching the water roll by are favorites of all that visit. For those that enjoy fishing, the river is one of Georgia's most biologically diverse. The most storied pursuit is that of the striped bass.
