This upcountry Maui home, built by legendary craftsman John Cahill, is an enduring, livable work of art—and Marmol Radziner’s first house in Hawaii. At the edge of a dramatic tropical valley, a triad of structures rises from an impeccably landscaped garden: main house, art studio and office, and carport and music studio. Glass, cedar, and honed lava playfully direct sunlight throughout the day—from its morning appearance to its dramatic sunset finale.
