I've admired the arresting architecture of 17 Belmont Street for years so seeing it in person and presenting it to others is really a treat! If not actually a Sears kit home this bewitching brick Queen Anne/Tudor style home, showing European influences on the exterior, certainly drew its inspiration from the Sears 'Hillsboro' model-its first floor is identical except that the garage was converted to living space 'back in the day''. Even without authentication 17 Belmont Street evokes the same sense of a simpler time! In the same ownership since 1964 its structure and systems are solid. All flooring is harwood except for the kitchen and 2 baths. A den (or first floor bedroom) and bath already exists, and the living room w/fireplace is generously sized and inviting!
