Words cannot express this amazing view of the Catskill Mountains. These pictures will not do it justice either. While lounging by the pool and staring at the curves of the mountains, you are left in awe of their beauty. From the bedrooms you can see Rip Van Winkle lying down for his nap. With every change of season comes a new palette of colors from the greens of spring to the cornucopia of autumn leaves, it's like something out of one of the Hudson River Painters precious landscapes. I think my favorite time is the dark silhouette that outlines the shape of the mountains as the day fades behind the Catskills. Sunsets here are magical and the mountains feel as if they are all yours. This home is built for entertaining. The soaring high ceiling of the great room leads right outside to the terrace and opens up into the kitchen and dining room as well.
