Residence 13A is a three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath home with approximately 2,590 square feet at 100 Vandam, the COOKFOX-designed adaptive reuse that raises a contemporary glass tower out of an 1888 brick warehouse, a former printing factory and electrical substation, in Hudson Square. The apartment takes a corner position on the thirteenth floor, where floor-to-ceiling windows on three exposures, north, west, and south, open the residence to light through the day and gather the downtown panorama from One World Trade Center across to the Hudson River. Three planted gardens sit just outside the apartment, two at the living and dining areas and one at the primary suite, framed by floor-to-ceiling glass and doors that open onto them.
