As a 29-year resident of Madison County and lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, Alan has a deep passion for our area and a true appreciation of it's beauty, it's people and it's possibilities. Alan is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone and has served WNC as a Certified Public Accountant for 34+ years. Alan views his real estate business as far more than just helping clients buy or sell property. He also sees it as an opportunity to help people make good financial decisions whether their purchase or sale is for personal, investment or business needs. Assisting clients with these important transactions brings him great satisfaction and he approaches real estate in a very personal, committed and professional way. Alan's experience as a CPA, an NC REALTOR, and a residential, commercial and rental property owner, himself, allows him to assist both buyers and sellers with a wide array of services.

Alan lives in Mars Hill where he and his wife, Rhonda, raised their two sons, Garrett & Cole. When Alan isn't working in his tax office or performing real estate activities, he enjoys traveling, camping, playing with his dog, Hope, and working his Christmas tree farm in Avery County.
