In addition to the chamber of commerce, Bob is also a member and active participant with the Son's of the American Legion, Post 673 - Huntley in addition to being appointed to the Board of Directors of the Huntley Legion Charitable Foundation. Before starting his career in real estate, Bob worked as a Disposables Engineer at Fenwal, a Fresenius Kabi Company, from August 2014 to September 2015. He also worked part-time at DeFiore Funeral & Cremation Service from September 2012 to March 2020. Prior to this he worked in the engineering departments at various manufacturing companies that included conveyor design, plastic pipe extrusion process, entertainment system controls, and specialty medical device design.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University in May 2011. He also obtained two Associate in Science degrees from McHenry County College.
